I decided to join the SCUC Education Foundation because I believe in the power of education. My son is an educator and I see how much he personally contributes financially to help his students. With the constraints on budgets that school districts face I believe it is the responsibility of everyone to help fill the gaps for our students and the staff at the schools. It is also vitally important to show our appreciation to those who are helping to shape future generations. The Education Foundation gave me a way to directly connect with the students and staff at SCUC ISD in order to show them my appreciation, as well as, showing them that they are seen and valued.
