Letticia Sever

Letticia Sever was appointed to the SCUC ISD Board of Trustees in 2018 to fill a vacancy in Place 3. She has served in multiple leadership roles on the Board, including Assistant Secretary in 2019 and Secretary in 2021.

A former educator, Mrs. Sever earned a Bachelor of Science in Curriculum & Instruction – Secondary Education from Texas A&M University and later a Master of Education from Texas State University. As a military spouse, she taught in Killeen, Virginia, and Seoul, South Korea before settling in Schertz with her family.

Mrs. Sever is an active district and community volunteer. She has served on the Community Advisory Committee, District Improvement Committee, Strategic Plan Committees (2014 and 2018), and the School Board Budget Committee. She also mentors students through Communities in Schools of South-Central Texas and contributes to civic leadership through the City of Schertz Historical Preservation Committee and Library Advisory Committee.

Her service as a trustee is guided by a commitment to supporting strong schools, elevating student opportunities, and fostering meaningful partnerships across SCUC ISD
