About Us

The Army Residence Community is a Life Plan Community in San Antonio, Texas, Military City, USA.

We are home to approximately 730 retired The Army Residence Community welcomes all honorably retired or discharged veterans from all branches of service, as well as all honorably retired or separated civilian federal employees to include spouses and surviving spouses, who are at least 62 years of age.

San Antonio is home to many military facilities, including Randolph Air Force Base, Fort Sam Houston and San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC, formerly BAMC), with shopping, medical services, and other support. This military connection gives you another prime reason for considering the ARC when you seek an active retirement community.
