It’s time to get prepped! Do you want to be better prepared during an emergency situation but aren’t sure where to start? Join the City of Schertz for the Get Prepped Emergency Preparedness Block Party on Saturday, September 24 as we equip our residents to be better prepared which will help our community to be more resilient in times of disaster. 

Participate in various emergency preparedness demos, take tours of the fire, police, and EMS stations, check out the emergency vehicles, and enjoy lunch, fun activities, and lots of great giveaways!  There will also be ongoing booths, vendors, displays, and demonstrations from various organizations. The block party will be held at the Hal Baldwin Municipal Complex from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This is a free event open to all members of the community.
