Meet back at church at 6 PM for potluck dinner and Connections Worship Service

Description
Schertz UMC Annual Faith In Action day: Sunday, April 29.
Join us in putting our Faith Into Action around town, undertaking numerous projects to help others.
Some of the projects we’ll be undertaking include:
- Odd jobs around the homes for people unable physically or financially to complete them. Things like:
- Minor repairs
- Yard clean-up
- Painting
- Fence repairs
- General maintenance
- Serving breakfast
- Service and singing at nursing homes and for shut-ins at private homes
- Work on wheelchair ramps for the Texas Ramp Project
- Writing letters were written to deployed military members
- Building personal mobility devices for Mobility Worldwide (https://mobilityworldwide.org)
- Sewing pillowcases for children in Methodist hospitals. Sewing machines are needed so if you have a portable sewing machine and could loan it to the church during the week of Faith-In-Action, we would LOVE to put it to use. - Paper bags are needed. We plan to decorate them and provide them to RACAP. You can drop these off at the church office any time.
