Teri is a Franchise Consultant with FranNet who helps individuals discover entrepreneurship possibilities through a process that matches their passions. By assessing their skill sets and goals, she helps her clients navigate the research and due diligence involved in owning a franchise.  
Teri transitioned into Franchise Consulting after a successful career in the insurance industry, where she consulted with existing agents and recruited and coached candidates interested in becoming agents and owning their own businesses.  Teri is passionate about making a difference and enjoys educating her clients and being a resource for them before and after the sale. She is a native San Antonian and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
 

Wendy Skemer brings more than 35 years of experience in the financial industry, joining Benetrends in May 2013. Prior to her position at Benetrends, Skemer was Senior Manager of Financing Strategies, at Direct Connect Ventures, responsible for developing new business plans and assisting clients with SBA lending programs. In addition to her position at DCV, Wendy’s career path has taken her to Japan where she worked in accounting, merchandising and development for The Gap. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from State University of New York (SUNY) in Buffalo, NY and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA.
