Description
Do you frequently struggle with starting your day? Have difficulty committing to social activities? Have a hard time going to sleep, staying asleep or sleeping too much? Do you repeatedly feel sick or become ill more regularly? Do you end your day exhausted but feel you have not accomplished anything?
These are symptoms of burnout. Burnout results from mental, emotional, and physical fatigue brought about by unmanaged stress. The effects of burnout spill over into every area of life—including your home, work, and social life. Burnout can also cause long-term changes to your body, making you vulnerable to illnesses like colds and flu. Because of its many consequences, it’s essential to deal with burnout right away.
