Guest speaker Shelia Price SHRM-CP, PHR with Employer Solutions Inc. will update members

on the new employment regulations taking effect on July 1st. Topics she will cover

include:

Federal Protections for Pregnant Workers and Nursing Mothers (PWFA)
New Independent Contractor Rule
DOL Minimum Salary Threshold – New Overtime & Salary Rules
Restrictive Covenants – Non-Compete Laws

Shelia will also address using artificial intelligence in employment decisions.

Sheila Price has over 20+ years of HR experience, including Payroll, Workers’ Compensation and Benefits. Sheila holds a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in HR and graduated as a member of the Delta Mu Delta Honors Society as well as has her SHRM-CP and PHR certifications and her Health & Life License.

Sheila has a dedication and passion like no other when it comes to helping others. She is a very hands on, let’s get this done kinda gal. Sheila is currently an HR Business Partner for ESI in San Antonio, Texas. Sheila was formerly the Membership Director and Marketing Director for the local SHRM HR Chapter, San Antonio Society for Human Resources Management.
