Description
You’ve Been Served!
Small and medium size businesses are susceptible to frequent changes in the law and legal surprises. While larger enterprises can afford a General Counsel to keep them up to speed on legal transitions, smaller businesses have to find creative ways to stay abreast of the legal landscape for their business.
Our guest speaker, Mike Morris of Texas Law Pros (Morris, Bermudez & Clifton, pllc) will cover some of the landmines and pitfalls that face current business owners today. From what to do when a customer or vendor files bankruptcy, to recent changes in employment law, premises liability, and consumer protection statutes, Mike will try to keep you informed about the new landscape facing Texas Businesses. Learn why operating as a Sole Proprietor is a costly mistake, letting employees work from home may cost you intellectual property rights, and the top 10 items you need to negotiate in your next Lease.
