Schertz Historical Preservation Committee will celebrate the 100th Birthday of the oldest neighborhood in Schertz from 12 - 2pm at the Vinyard Fellowship Church Hall, 207 First Street, Schertz.
The Scheider Family was among the first settlers of Schertz and had a farm at this location. This is also where and most of the first families of Schertz lived.
The neighborhood sits at the intersection of FM78 & First Street, where the first settlers to Schertz lived.
