DESCRIPTION:Love Where You Live-Schertz (LWYL) is hosting it's 19th Clean-up event in four neighborhoods (The Village\, Heritage\, Parklands\, and Lone Oak). In its 10th year of serving the Schertz community\, LWYL serves homeowners in older\, under-served\, and often forgotten neighborhoods who need help maintaining their yard\, trimming trees/bushes\, bulk trash removal\, and minor home repair/maintenance. Many of those we serve are elderly\, disabled\, widowed\, veterans\, and/or simply incapable of performing the work themselves or paying someone to do it. Volunteers can sign up at lwylschertz.com.
