DESCRIPTION:Hal Baldwin Public Service Scholarship & Golf Tournament\n\n	Join the Hal Baldwin Scholarship Committee for the:\n\n	Hal Baldwin Scholarship Golf Tournament\n\n	Olympia Hills Golf & Conference Center\, Friday\, April 8\, 2011\n\n	Check-in begins 10:00am\n\n	Shotgun Start 12 noon\n\n	REGISTRATION FORM \n\n	 \n\n	The Hal Baldwin Scholarship encourages young people to consider public service and is named after the Schertz mayor who has given more than 30-years of service to the city.\n\n	In recognition of Baldwin's long service\, the Schertz City Council established his namesake scholarship to encourage high school seniors (public\, private\, or home-schooled) who are residents of Schertz to consider public service as a career path.\n\n	The $1\,000 annual scholarship is awarded annually on a competitive basis.\n\n	The scholarship may be used for tuition or other fees or expenses for any postsecondary school which is accredited by a state\, regional\, or national accreditation agency and which may be a traditional 2- or 4-year institution or other educational institution offering courses\, degrees\, or other training suitable to a public service career.
