DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Monthly Chamber Luncheon where guest speaker Clayton Ripps\, P.E.\, Director of Transportation Planning and Development for TXDOT\, will provide us with the latest updates in projects and construction in our area. Mr. Ripps has been with TxDOT for over 20 years where he has gained valuable experience in planning\, design\, and construction of numerous roadway projects in the surrounding San Antonio area. He oversees the development of all projects from project initiation\, thorough the environmental process and finishing the detail design of all projects for the 12 county area that makes up the San Antonio District. He works closely with the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organizations to develop the annual Transportation Improvement Program and Metropolitan Transportation Plans to ensure project funds are allocated and projects are developed and ready to be constructed.
